Join The Art Academy WInter Wonder Workshops 2019

The Art Academy is pleased to launch WINTER WONDER , a festive and fun weekend afternoon workshop series this December. As the cold weather approaches, we invite you to cosy up in our studio, and create one-of-a-kind holiday cards, cheerful ornaments and unique artworks for yourself or to gift this holiday season.

Each week discover new projects! This program is open to all ages and is a great opportunity to create alongside grandchildren, children, or friends. Our in-studio artists are around to help with the mixed age groups. Hurry, these are our last set of workshops this year! Registration required for each session. Seats are limited! Madhubani Coasters - Fusion Art

Explore the theme of Christmas while discovering this tribal artform from Bihar in making Madhubani inspired coasters. Add a touch of our traditional art to create joyous patterns and give your home a festive touch by paying tribute to our nation s artistic heritage. Hand-painted coasters make a great gift for loved ones.
The very talented Smita will be conducting the workshop and sharing tips from her love for art and extensive experience in creating traditional Indian art.
All material will be supplied. Bring your friends and family along.

Watercolour Winter Wreath Workshop

Inspired by winter flora, enjoy an afternoon discovering the beauty and delicate touch of watercolour painting. Get plenty of hands-on instruction with a live demo on how to paint a festive poinsettia in a gorgeous floral wreath. Join our in-studio artist and learn a variety of watercolour techniques and create your own holiday art card! No experience required. All supplies included. Register today!

DIY Christmas Ornament Workshop

Deck the Halls! Paint and personalise a Christmas Bauble to decorate your tree or gift a loved one. Our fusion theme of Mandala art using dotting technique will get you an elegant and intricate looking keepsake. Paint on your name and the date and it becomes a great remembrance piece! All supplies provided and everyone will leave with their beautiful work of art!
