The Pikey Trek is a comfortable trekking route among the others treks with Pikey Peak being one of the tallest Mountain of Solu. It is one of the most popular trekking trails of the Everest region, probably one of the lower altitude viewpoints to see Mount Everest. The originality of the name Pikey is taken from the two names of Sherpa People. It is a very well known for its majestic sunrises and sunset, Sherpa culture and their traditions and magnificent views of the Himalayan Range of Mount Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjungha, Gauri Shankar, Lhotse Shar, Number, Khatang Karyalung, Annapurna, Nuptse, Amadablam, Shishapangama, Thamserku, Mera Peak etc, and rhododendron flower, Mongolia and wild orchids.
Trekking in the Pikes Peak region has been growing popularity, but still a little-travelled option than most in the Everest area. If you re planning for a short trek in the Everest Region near Kathmandu, this is a great route. If you re feeling very fit or are just short on time, this can be the best option for 3- 4 days. But, a more gentle 6- days trek will allow you a proper physical workout without the stress, and a chance to visit lots of Buddhist monasteries, gumbos and stupas. Both Itineraries provide amazing views of the Number Himal Range and Everest, which is the best view of Everest in Nepal.
