About Shimla (also known as Simla)
Shimla is a tourist destination par excellence. It is a beautiful hill town in the lap of nature, surrounded by pine and deodar forests. Shimla is situated in the north-west Himalayas and is the capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh in North India. It is a 18 sq km mountainous region lying at an altitude of 2,213 meters. Weather here is pleasant throughout the year except in winters, when it is very cold because of snowfall. Summers in Shimla ranges from April to June. During summer, the temperature fluctuates between 15 to 30 degree Celsius. Whereas, winters here lasts from November to March with temperature ranging between -4 to 8 degree celsius.
Day 01: Delhi to Shimla( 380 kms)
Pick up from Delhi Airport/railway station & drive to Shimla. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest and relax! Have a walk to the mall!. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Shimla - Kufri - Shimla
After breakfast drive from Shimla to Kufri by 10.00 A.M visiting Kufril, and Near by spots, Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town - The Mall & The Ridge. Overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Shimla
After breakfast drive from Shimla to the mall and ridges for shopping! Rest and relax! Overnight stay at hotel!
Day 04: Shimla -Kullu- Manali
After breakfast drive from Shimla to Manali. Covering kullu, famous for shawls! On arrival check in at hotel. Rest and relax! Have a walk in the mall!. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 05: Manali
After breakfast drive from Manali covering Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple, Vashisht Village and Tibetan Monastery. . Overnight stay at hotel
Day 06: Manali - Rhotang Pass - Manali
After breakfast drive from Manali covering Kothi Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi, Rohtang Pass (Upto Snow Line in case Rohtang is closed due to snow fall) and Sollang Valley. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 07: Manali/ Manikaran (85 kms)/ Kullu (45 kms)
After breakfast drive from Manali to Manikaran. “Manikaran”: has the World’s hottest Suplhur Spring Waters and is a holy place for Hindus & Sikhs alike. Return back to Kullu town visiting the famous Kullu Shawl Industry. On arrival check in at hotel. Evening free to visit Kullu town. Overnight at hotel.
Day 08:Manali- Kullu - Mc Leodganj ( Dharamshala)(200 kms)
After breakfast drive from Manali covering Kullu to Mc Leodganj (Dharamsala). On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09: Mc Leodganj
After breakfast drive from mc leodgang covering Dal Lake, Church, Bhagsu Nag Temple and Tibetan Monastery. Afternoon free. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Mc Leodganj - Dalhousie (145 kms)
After breakfast drive from mc leodgang to Dalhousie. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 11: Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Dalhousie
After breakfast drive from Dalhousie /kahajjiar Flow through a mesmerizing experience.
