South Central Railway Sports Quota Recruitment 2015

South Central Railway, Headquarters Office, Secunderabad issued Employment Notification for recruitment of Sports Persons against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the Year 2015-16. The closing date for receipt of applications is 7th December 2015.

Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years as on 1st January 2016. No Age Relaxation.

Educational Qualifications:

For Grade Pay 2800 / 2400 Posts -> Minimum Graduation in any faculty through a recognized University.
For Grade Pay 2000 / 1900 Posts -> Minimum 12th (+2 Stage) or Intermediate or Equivalent examination.
For Grade Pay 1800 Posts -> Minimum 10th pass or Matriculation or ITI or Equivalent.

Categorization of International Championships: For recruitment purpose. International Championships/events are categorized as under:

Minimum Sports Qualifications:

GP 2800 (OR) 2400 -> Represented the Country in Olympic Games (Category-A) (OR) At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-B Championship/events, except Gold Medal in Asian Games.
GP 2000 (OR) 1900 -> Represented the Country in any of the Category-B Championships/ events (OR) At least 3rd Position in any of the Category-C Championships/events (OR) At least 3rd Position In Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships (OR) At least 3rd Position in National Games organized under aegis of Indian Olympic Association. (OR) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities. (OR) 1st Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
GP 1800/- -> Represents of the country in any of the Category of Championships / Events (OR) At least 3rd Position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category) (OR) Represented a State of equivalent Unit, except in Marathon / Cross Country in Senior / Youth / Junior National Championships (OR) At least 3rd Position in Senior State Championships for all Units and Districts of the State.

Application Fee: 100/- for post in Grade Pay 1800/-, 1900 / 2000/- and 2400 / 2800/-. The Fee should be paid in the form of crossed Bank Draft / Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of Financial Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad tor the posts of Headquarters and Senior Divisional Finance Managers of respective divisions tor the divisional posts. The fee is not refundable under any circumstances. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, Women, Minority and Economically Backward Classes (Family income is less than 50,000/- per annum) are exempted from the payment of fees.

Mode of Selection: The Selection is based on total marks obtained by the candidates. The distribution of marks is as:-

How To Apply:

(1) Application should be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting either in English or in Hindi,
(2) Application should be on a good quality A-4 size paper using one side only. News paper cutting should nol be used as an application.
(3) A recent passport size colour photograph should be pasted in the space provided on the application attested by him/her i.e. partially on photograph and partially on the application.
(4) The candidate should also attach two recent passport size colour photographs (same as the one affixed on the application form) and it should be clipped along with the application form,
(5) The candidate should also submit two self addressed unstamped envelopes (size 23 cms x 10 cms.) along with his/her application.
(6) Serving employees should apply through proper channel duly forwarded by their controlling officials. The last date will not be extended on account of delay in transmission of the application by the concerned office.
