TSPSC Notification 2016 Excise Constable (340 Vacancies)

Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), Hyderabad invites Online Recruitment Applications from qualified candidates for the post of Prohibition & Excise Constable in Excise Department in the State of Telangana. The last date for submission of online applications is 19th May 2016.

Educational Qualification: Must have passed Intermediate (Matriculation with +2) or its equivalent examination.

Physical Standards:

(1) For Men -> (a) Must not be less than 165 Cms in height, (b) Must not be less than 81 Cms round the Chest on full expiration with a minimum expansion of 5 Cms; Provided that in the case of Candidates belonging to ST's where the required quota cannot be fully utilised for want of sufficient candidates possessing the requisite height, it may be relaxed by 5 Cms. So that it shall not be less than 160Cms.
(2) For Women -> (a) Must not be less than 152.5 Cms in height, (b) Must not weigh less than 45.5 Kgs.
(3) Visual Standards -> All Candidates, including women for Direct Recruitment must be
certified by Ophthalmic Surgeon (of the rank of Civil Surgeon in Government Service) to possess the following Visual Standards:-
(a) Right Eye - Near Vision 0.5 (Snellen), Distance 6/6
(b) Left Eye - Near Vision 0.5 (Snellen), Distance 6/6
(c) Each eye must have a full field of vision.
(d) Colour Blindness, Squint or any bordlid condition of the eyes or lids of either eye, knock, kness, pigeon chest, flat foot, varicose veins, hammer toes, fractured limbs or decayed teeth shall be deemed to be a disqualification.

Application Fee: Each applicant must pay 200/- towards Online Application Processing Fee. This a part, the applicants have to pay 80/- towards Examination Fee. The exam fee exemption only for Telangana State SC, ST, BC, PH and Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 28 years. BC s, SC s and ST s belonging to other states are not exempted from payment of Application processing Fee and Examination Fee. The fee is to be paid online through SBI ePay.

Selection Process: Preliminary Qualifying Test (PQT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Written Examination.
