J.R.N. Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed) University is recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC)
J.R.N. Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed) University. The status was granted under the provision of Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 Vide notification No. :
F.9-1/84-U.3 dated January 12, 1987. MHRD notification dated 19th August 2003.
Distance Education Council (DEC), New Delhi, has granted Permission to Distance Education WING (Directorate of Distance Education) Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed) University to start Programme through distance mode in the year 2001.(DEC Director Mr. M.M. Ansari vide letter no. : F.No. DEC / CCI / 2001/4614, dated 26.09.2001).
All the degrees / diplomas (conducted through Academic Centres /Study Centres / off Campus Centres) awarded by J.R.N. Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed) University are recognized for the purpose of employment under the central Government. There is no necessity of any orders recognizing such degrees / diplomas. (MHRD Letter No.:(LF.23-1/2003-TS, III dated 17th Feb. 2004).
All the programmes (approved by the statutory bodies of the institute) till 2005 have been granted ex-post-facto recognition and approved till August 2007 by DEC, NEW DELHI. Letter no. DEC/JRN/RJ06/5448 dated 29.08.2007.
J.R.N. Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed) University granted provisional recognition for offering programmes through Distance Mode for period of one year i.e. till September 2008, vide letter no. : DEC/JRN/DATED 03.09.2007.
Continuation of provisional recognition for offering programmes through Distance Mode by the DEC till time a visiting committee visits DDE JRNRVU and submits its recommendation, for period of one year i.e. till September 2008, vide letter no. : DEC/JRN/RJ/08/14236 DATED 08/10/2008.
Continuation of provisional recognition for offering programmes through Distance Mode by the DEC till time a visiting committee visits DDE JRNRVU and submits its recommendation, for period of one year i.e. till September 2008, vide letter no. : DEC/JRN/RJ/2008 DATED 11/10/2011.
J.R.N. Rajasthan Vidyapeeth (Deemed) University has been accredited at the B++ level by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Certificate of NAAC dated may 20th, 2005.
