JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) has been set up under Rajasthan Private Universities Act by "Lakshmipat Singhania Foundation for Higher Learning" an SPV set up by the well-established Lakshmipat Singhania Education Foundation.

Institute of Engineering & Technology:
Academic university for Engineering established the Institute of Engineering & Technology which aims to encourage teaching practices with demonstrated effectiveness, such as the use of demonstrations, posing conceptual questions, as well as providing brief lectures, peer teaching and structured problem-solving.

Institute of Management (IM):
It has been established to develop business leaders for tomorrow who will be capable of meeting the challenges of corporate world. Institute of Management (IM) effort towards the original objectives of the Institute as profitability, market position, product leadership, productivity, personnel development, public responsibility, employee attitudes, and balance between long-range and short-range goals for management education

University programs must educate students in technical disciple as well as in broad set of personal, interpersonal and system building skills. The programs is rich with student projects complemented by internships in industry, and features active, experiential, and group learning set in both classroom and a modern learning workshop laboratory.
