Nathmal Ji Ki Haveli: This is a beautiful mansion located at the heart of Jaisalmer. The building is mainly famous for its intricate architecture and beautiful carvings. Built by Maharawal Berisal, the then prime minister of Jaisalmer, the haveli was mainly the residence of Diwan Mohata Nathmal. It is believed that the haveli was constructed by two brothers, namely Hathi and Lalu. They started building this haveli from two different faces, simultaneously, and met at the center place. Due to lack of accurate measuring tools, the building got irregular shapes on completion. But this became the USP of the haveli.
