    PIC Microcontroller
    PIC is a family of modified Harvard architecture microcontrollers made by Microchip Technology and developed by General Instrument's Microelectronics Division. The name PIC referred to "Peripheral or Programmable Interface Controller". The PIC Microcontroller is one of the most popular general purpose microcontrollers especially designed for embedded systems and especially in robotics. It a small chip based on an architecture with support for embedded applications, such as measuring device, security systems, robotics, remoter control applications, scroll message display, etc. Training emphasis is given to applied knowledge of the principles by exposing the students to live working projects.
