Diploma Fire Service Engineering could be a program initiated by the PCFSM. An industrial safety degree begets multiple career paths involved in promoting and protecting health and safety in addition to preventing incidents and injury. Job titles such as Fire Prevention Engineer, Industrial Safety Engineer, System Safety Engineer, Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, Food Safety Inspector, Ergonomist, and Industrial Hygienist are optimal and available for students in the safety and health discipline.
Students will find themselves stretched by new critical thinking skills, as a result bringing richer perspective to their daily practice. Course material builds upon the skills developed in the CHSEP program through six core courses and two electives. This program will provide students with the knowledge required to develop, implement and evaluate OHS programs and systems in the workplace.
