    About the Department
    The Department of Agriculture offers B.Sc. Agriculture (4 years professional and regular degree program) which is affiliated to Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University (NAAC A Grade Central University). We provide state-of- art laboratories with Hi-tech facilities during studies. In campus we extend well furnished hostel facility with healthy food. Well qualified teachers with best pedagogy have made the school of Agriculture and Higher Education at Himalayan College, a preferred destination of the students of the country.

    We manifest the students with an understanding of the scientific principles underlying the many facets of agriculture together with their application in agricultural systems and related industries. Study curriculum involves professional presentations, practical experimentation, field trials etc in accordance with the curriculum. Industrial visits are arranged at regular intervals for professional exposure as well as up gradation of students. Students are engrossed in studies through semester scheme.

    Roorkee Institute of Technology (RIT) and Himalayan College (HC) operate in unison under Himalayan Charitable Trust. At Himalayan College, we offer B. Sc. Agriculture and B. Sc. Forestry programmes (both 4 years regular degree programmes). The School of Agriculture and Forestry provides quality education in Agriculture, Forestry and other allied disciplines. The primary objective of the School of Agriculture and Forestry at Himalayan College is to train students to become Agriculture and Forestry professionals.
