The Global Open University TGOU Wokha in Kohima

The Global Open University is the joint private public partnership university between the world institution building program and the Govt. of Nagaland. It was established in the year 2006, located in Wokha, Nagaland. The university Grant commission recognized The Global Open University.
The university offers 200+ courses across multidisciplinary fields. It offers courses in Bachelor s, Master s, UG diploma, PG diploma and advanced diploma courses. There are several courses offered in different departments specifically, Management, commerce, computers and information technology, social science, mass communication, education, fire science and industrial safety, sports science, etc. it offers courses only for distance education.
The university helps the students to get placed, thus 60% of students get their job through placement cells. Also, 60% of students get their internships for their courses. Various renowned companies such as pixel, zee, etc., visited the campus.
