Passed XII or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board/Council/University with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students of SC and ST category.
Qualifying the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET), Personal interview & Writing Ability Test of our centre. Indian students will be admitted on the basis of the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and PIWAT (SET score 50% and PIWAT 50%)

Management Quota Fees in Symbiosis University:
Few Seats are reserved as Management Quota Seats. Only students with high academic record and with good entrance test scores are considered for Maanagement Quota Seats. The fees for Management Quota Seats will be double the Academic fees of open category (Indian Students) to be paid to the Institute by way of Demand Draft payable at Pune.

The admission process of BBA programme starts in the month of February. The eligibility for BBA programme for student is 12th appearing or 12th pass or equivalent exam with 50 % and above For Open Category and 45% and above For SC & ST Category are eligible to apply. The seat intake for BBA Programme is 300 seats split as Indian Student - 240 seats & International Students - 60 Seats.
Apply for BBA programme: Students are selected to UG Program of Symbiosis International University (SIU) on the basis of their performance in a single entrance test - Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). It is therefore mandatory that a student registers to appear for the entrance test SET 2016.
BBA Selection Process: Students will be selected for admission based on the cumulative score of Performance in the Symbiosis Entrance Test ( SET ) 50 % weightage and Personal Interaction and Written Ability Test ( PI-WAT) 50 % Weightage.
Overview of SET: SET is a common entrance test for admission in any of the courses /Institutes under Symbiosis International University. SET is held in various cities. It is generally held on first Saturday of May every year.
Registration Process for SET: For appearing in SET, one has to do online registration. Online Registration For the Academic year 2016-17 the online registration is open from 03 Feb 2016 and will close on 14 April 2016. Registration Fees of 1500/- has to be paid along with registration before the closing date 18 April 2016. The admit card for SET to be printed / collected online by a candidate between 23April and 07 May 2016. The Test Date is 07 May 2016. The Test is conducted only once a year and this date cannot be changed. The maximum score for SET will be 150. The SET results will be declared on web site on 20 May 16.
Overview of PI-WAT: PI-WAT is the next activity of selection process for BBA course offered by Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (SCMS). For PI-WAT only those candidates who have scored more or equal cut off marks are eligible. Only those candidates who have registered for SCMS Pune will be called for PI-WAT.
PI-WAT structure:
a. Personal Interaction (PI) - It is personal interaction/ interview of a candidate with panel of experts from Industries / Academics. That covers general awareness, extracurricular activities, and your specific field of interest, communication skills and over all personality.
b. Written Ability Test (WAT)- The Test includes one PAT ( picture association test ) and writing an short essay on a given topic (of general nature) as well as answering the questions related to given topic.
The Maximum score for PI-WAT will be 100 marks and it gives candidate two option of test centres i.e. Pune and Noida.
Registration for SCMS Pune: Any candidate who is seeking admission to BBA course at SCMS Pune, must get registered with SCMS Pune
Hence one must get him/her self-registered as per following steps.
i. Online Registration -The candidate must get himself online registered on our Web site www.scmspune .ac.in. For academic year 2016-17 online Registration will begin on 05 Feb 2016 and will close on 20 May 16.
ii. Payment of Registration Fees --Registration fees as specified (1000/-) can be paid Online /through Demand Draft. Wef 03 Feb 2016.
iii. Closing Date The payment of Registration fees will close on 16 May 2016 for Payment through DD while for on-line payment will close on 20 May 2016.
iv. Call for PI-WAT -The short listed candidates for PIWAT will be declared on 23 May 2016 for which candidates must visit our web sitewww.scmspune.ac.in.
It is advisable to make your travel arrangement by booking your seat to attend PIWAT immediately keeping in view the small gap between date of SET Results and date of PIWAT for short listed candidates. Should you not get short listed for PIWAT, the seat may be cancelled.
v. PI-WAT Schedule- The PIWAT for both the centres will be conducted on separate dates ( 26 28 May 16 and 30 May to 02 June 16) and will be available to candidates through our website giving the Centre , date and time . Shortlisted Candidates have to give their option for the centre and date till vacancy available on that date.
vi. Reporting for PI-WAT Candidates must bring with them- copy of their documents as specified in the intimation for PIWAT e.g. 12th Mark sheet , Provisional passing cert from School and Cast /category cert e.g. For SC/ST or Defence, as applicable .
Declaration of Merit List - Based on the weightage of scores for SET and PI-WAT , the first Merit list will be drawn and will be declared on our web-site www.scmspune.ac.in on 07 June 2016 .
