The name of his father is Lt. Mr. Ramesh Chandra Ghosh and Lt. Mrs. Bela Ghosh. Mrs. Bela Ghosh was the former chairman of West Bengal Public service Commission whereas Mr. Ramesh Chandra Ghosh was the principal of Presidency College in Kolkata at the past times. Both his parents are a source of inspiration in educational institutes and industries as a whole. The parents of Dr. Ghosh encourage and motivate education and are a source of mirror and are the glimpses and marks of light and symbol (Abhilash et al. 2011).
The son of the luminaries in the educational sector, Lt. Dr Rameshchandra Ghosh and Lt. Dr Mrs Bela Ghosh - the ex Chairperson of West Bengal Public Service Commission, Dr. Gautam Ghosh is a visionary public speaker, philanthropist and legal pioneer; a personality revered in the fields of Political Analysis, Human Rights and Policing.
Dr. Gautam Ghosh s contribution and achievements:
As Anton Chekov has said, Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice , Dr. Ghosh worked both as a Professor and a Lawyer, dispensing equity and mastery, utilizing his knowledge for the greater good. Dr. Ghosh is both a senior faculty of Public Administrator and a High Court Advocate. Hence, he started his career since the year 1995 and after that never looked back.
He has been a pedantic educator since 1997, in prestigious educational institutions and Universities. As not just a teacher, but a teacher with a vision, he has given education various new dimensions, as opposed to the prevalent practice of limited, enclosed class-room teaching. His teaching methods are not only formal, but informal too. His fortunate pupils remember him as the teacher who gave them newer directions and equipments to view the world with newer lenses. One such occasion was at the Bureau of Police Research and Development, Government of India, where he was acknowledged by his students who are police officers from different nations. After sometimes he has improved himself to be an excellent faculty member by the time of 1997 as such. His thirst as well as passion of educational activities never gets confined to one area only (Aitipamula S, et al. 2012).
In regards to a Professor, his teaching skills and capabilities and his process of teaching have paved the way for the candidates of both school and college of St. Peters in knowing the world deeply and thoroughly in various methods.
