ENGINEERING COLLEGE ADMISSION GUIDENCE: - 9434133330
India is the home for best engineering institutes and also considered as best among the world’s top engineering colleges. For Indian as well as abroad students the Indian engineering colleges has set a successful path. Top engineering colleges in India are located in metropolitan cities and other cities like Kanpur, Guwahati, Vellore, Kharagpur, and Allahabad and so on. Both undergraduate and post graduate courses are offered by the best engineering institutes in India. Depending upon the choice students can go for either government managed engineering college or privately owned college. A uniform procedure has been set for selection by top engineering colleges in India. For instance, on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) score admission into undergraduate programs are considered at the Indian Institute of technology for Indians as well as foreign nationals. Apart from IIT, other engineering colleges in India have their own admission procedure. In development of technological manpower India has many top engineering colleges which play a vital role. These institutes have world known research programs.
Apart from JEE, another common entrance tests for admission in top engineering colleges in India are AIEEE, BITSAT, VITEEE, WBJEE, EAMCET, MHT CET, COMEDK, and so on. The cut off percentage for admission may vary from one engineering college to another. It is the fact that quality education at 2 levels with increasing competition among a large number of engineering aspirants has scored the cut off very high. This is why our engineering aspirants and their parents are always worried about the results whether they can score high rank in these entrance exams or not. As the merit seats are comparatively very less than the number of aspirants (approx. 10,00,000) getting admission in top engineering colleges through competition is obviously very tough. Those meritorious students who scored low rank in entrance exams may take admission in top engineering colleges through management quota.
Most of the top engineering colleges (private only) in India also have 15% seats reserved for Foreign Nationals/NRI/POI/Management Quota to admit the meritorious students on a chance to prove themselves as a good aspiring engineer. The admission through management quota is solely based upon the decisions of the college authority. Eligibility is set as per the colleges or university norms and regulations. For admission in engineering through management quota, minimum eligibility is 45% in PCM, but, usually some of the top engineering colleges and deemed universities have set the eligibility 60% in PCM plus they prefer at least appearance in any one engineering entrance exams like AIEEE in order to maintain the student’s quality.
