Art is perceived differently by different people at different ages. But by far it is the most inherent part of nature. From the bees to the ants, everyone displays their artistic skills inherently. But the impact of Art in the lives of people are different.

A senior citizen would like to use art to summarize his entire life s knowledge, experience and learning in his creations, while a home maker would like to reinvent herself in a creative manner through art. A professional may release the stress of his daily job and a student my start looking for focus, creativity and path the next stage of life through art.

With so much variation in the use of Art, we find that the way Art is cultivated in the minds of the Art Lovers or general public, is far from what it should be. We find that currently, Art is either taught using a degree and syllabus in mind and an exam certifies the authenticity of creativity in an Artist a Concept with no Justification, or Art is taught by individual Artists training their pupil in specific school of thought. Besides even today in country like India, Art is not the career parents choose for their children. May be the way Art is perceived, is still not right.

To work within these aspects of Art is a challenging job, but nevertheless we intend to create a strong value for Artists, Art Lovers and Art Patron in both India and Abroad, through ANTHELION SCHOOL OF ART.

Anthelion School of Art shall be an ecosystem that will work in every aspect of Art (Painting form to start with then evolving to sculptures, handicrafts, performance arts etc. later). We shall presently conduct

1. Art Classes where people from the age group of 8 to 80 can just come and paint, learn and practice, without worrying about anything. Mentors shall help identify the right direction and coverage for each student and help them develop their Artistic sense and capabilities as per their circumstances. We have 4 target groups for these classes Senior Citizens, Home Makers, Professionals and Students. Classes are designed to suit the timings and way of life of each of these TGs.

2. Art Workshops Specialized workshops shall be organized in and outside the centre (at different venues) where we shall develop specialized 4 hour programs with some specific task and design in mind. These workshops shall inculcate Creative Thoughts into something that the participant will themselves make during the workshop, while learning about the process and the way creativity releases inner stress and channelizes the locked energy. This shall be including Art Therapy as the component of the design itself. These workshops will make us the most unique organization in the world.

3. Art Exhibitions We shall conduct Art Exhibitions at good venues where our Students, Mentors and Associates all can participate. These will have to be very high class exhibitions, inviting the best of the Art Patrons, Collectors and Art Lovers. We plan to conduct one year in India and next year outside India but at different location every year.

4. Art Camps this is our ambitious plan to conduct one Art Camp cum Symposium every year in Kolkata to create a strong ecosystem here and develop our Brand in a Strong Manner.

5. Art Talks Very senior artists will be invited every week, one class (2 hours) for student who would register on first cum first serve basis.

6. Online Art Gallery We shall be starting our own online Art Gallery that will promote the work of our Students, Mentors and Associates which we shall also try to see.

So far, we have only planned these activities which will all have an Art Therapy embedded in it. The idea is that Anthelion School of Art must be a wellness centre where people come to rejuvenate through Art, develop not only the Artistic skills and expertise but also regularly learn new creatives processes to release their blocked energies and finally aspire to be happy and content.

We shall not have any fixed Curriculum instead we shall have an overall coverage and guidance for every individual, as per their specific need which will be identified during counselling and advised. But the student will finally choose what he/she wants to work on.

Operations:
We would operate 6 days a week with 3 classes per day
Class 1 = 11.00 am to 1.00 pm
Class 2 = 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm
Class 3 = 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm
