Why we stand out?

Within 3 years of opening DESUN Hospital has achieved the prestigious National Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH) Accreditation from the Government of India for its quality medical treatment and hospital services. Since the setting up of NABH in the year 2006, not even 100 hospitals have been able to achieve these tough quality standards and get the accreditation.
Ranked as No.1 in WBHS enlisted Class-1 hospitals. There are now 7 Class - 1 hospitals in West Bengal which are empanelled under the West Bengal Health Scheme (WBHS), an initiative by The Government of West Bengal taken in the year 2008. If any WB Government patients get treated in WBHS Class-1 DESUN hospital then he/she is entitled to get 100% reimbursement of medical expenses.
DESUN Hospital & Heart institute is a CGHS empanelled Superspeciality Hospital. Only 2 hospitals in Eastern India are empanelled as Superspeciality Hospital by the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) an initiative taken by the Central Government. DESUN is one of them.
DESUN is the only hospital in Kolkata to achieve the National Accreditation Board for Laboratories (NABL) for over 1000 tests including Superspeciality tests using latest technologies like PCR, Immuno Assay, etc.
DESUN is also emapnelled by the Government of Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura.
