Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, an Institute of National Importance is looking for following Faculty positions for its various academic units. IIEST has published Faculty Standing Advertisement dated 9th October 2015. The last date was not specified in this advertisement.

Designation,Pay Scale,Qualification & Experience

Assistant Professor (on Contract),PB-3 with A.G.P of 7000/-,Ph.D

Assistant Professor,PB-3 with A.G.P of 8000/-,Ph.D + 03 year after PhD or 06 years total (not counting PhD enrolment period) after obtaining M.Tech. degree.

Associate Professor,PB-4 with A.G.P of 9500/-,Ph.D + 06 yrs. After PhD or 09 yrs. total (not counting PhD enrolment period) out of which 03 yrs should be after PhD. Three yrs. at the level of Assistant Professor with AGP of Rs.8000/- or equivalent in a reputed University, R&D Lab. or relevant industry.

Professor,PB-4 with A.G.P. of 10500/-,Ph.D + 10 yrs. After PhD or 13 yrs total (not counting PhD enrolment period) out of which 07 yrs are to be after PhD; At least three years to be at Associate Professor level in an institution repute.

Eligible Candidates are required to apply in prescribed application form and Bio-data sheet and to submit to the Receiving Section of the Institute either in person or by post along with a DD of 600/- drawn in favour of "The Registrar, IIESTS" on any Nationalized Bank payable at Kolkata (SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying the fee).
