Pailan College of Management and Technology under the Pailan Group has been set up to meet the manpower training and knowledge upgradation needs of the industry. Determined not to ignore the demands of the industry, Pailan Group with prior approval from the West Bengal University of Technology, the Directorate of Technical Education and the All India Council for Technical Education(Ministry of HRD, Government of India), decided to establish a benchmark-setting engineering and management college to empower students with excellent, employable, engineering, technological and managerial competencies and enable them to become more complete persons and effective citizens of India and the world.

The programme is designed to provide a balanced mixture of Computer Science and Information Technology So that the students on successful completion of the course may take up.either 1) A professional career in the Information Technology industries at various positions like System Analysts, System Analysts, fundamental and applied areas of computer science and Technology.
Apart from the core courses in computer science and Engineering , some relevant course of management are also included in the curriculum so as to prepare the students to face the challenges in the corporate environment.
