Papikondalu , Papi Kondalu Hills or Papi Hills is located near Rajahmundary in Andhra Pradesh in Perantalapalli village of Khammam district. The voyage takes you down the river from Kunavaram and transports you into a different world where Nature rules in all her glory, untouched by Man. You will see the picture postcard prettiness of a hilly countryside patch worked with quaint little farms, a landscape dotted with tribal habitations and river banks with the timber reserves. Day 1: Day 01: Rajahmundary/Papikondalu
On arrival to Rajahmundary on your own you have to report to our office by 7:00 Am in the morning. The Tour begins from our Office. You will be taken to the boating point which is 35 Kilometers away. There are three Boating Points Pattiseema, Puroshottapatnam and Polavaram. You will check in to the AC boat and you will be served with Breakfast. You will reach Gandi Pochamma Temple which is around 30 KMs from the boating point. You will also come across Devipatnam and can see the remains of the Police Station which was attacked by freedom fighter Alluri Sita Ram Raju In the noon you will be served with vegeterain andhra food. After lunch you will reach the most panoramic view Papikondalu.
You are on Holy river Godavari which is separating East Godavari, West Godavari and Khamam.
Then you will reach Perentapalli Tribal Village.You will visit Rama Krishna Muni Vatika which was creation of Late Poojya Swamy Balananda Sarswati in 1927, followed by darshan of Swayambu Lingakara Sri Veereswa Swamy and after local sight seeing we will proceed for Camp Site.
You will reach Bamboo Huts or Kolleru by evening. This place is beauty in itself. You are on the bank of River Godavari and can see the river flowing with all its strength. This place will certainly entice you with its beauty and charm. Evening you will have Camp Fire followed Andhra Vegeterian or Non Vegeterian Buffet food. Night stay in Bamboo Huts.
Day 2: Day 02: Kolleru/Rajahmundary
Today morning you will have sightseeing in the jungle by walk. There after you willbe served with breakfast. After Breakfast you can choose to explore the island of your own. Return to Rajahmundary by 8:30 pm. Please Note that the tour may be modified as of circumstances by the Tour Manager.
