Spoken English, Personality Development & Sales Force classes for Fresh Sales Professionals, Secondary, Higher Secondary (Bengali Medium or Hindi Medium Students) & Preparing Entrances students,
Dear Folks,
Many of us are often afraid of speaking English language among society, friends & family, especially those who come from Mother Tongue medium schools. We hesitate and realize if the same conversation could happen in my Mother Tongue or so would have been better, I could have explained in a better manner, even though I have secured distinction in English subject during 10th or 12th exams.
So it’s been clear that we don’t feel uncomfortable if the conversation is happening is our mother Tongue, could be Bengali, Hindi, etc… We are very comfortable in doing the same.
But unfortunately our corporate world use the gentlemen language which is English, so even if we have secured letter marks in our final exams we will be rejected in the interview just because of we know English but we do not have a control on it or we may not speak it, ronounce it properly.
Well the ultimate solution is to make “English Language” is your mother Tongue, But how????
We can barely speak but here we are talking about adapting this language as a mother tongue…..
The foundation of English is Grammar. Which we’ve studied in STD 1 or may be 2 in some cases STD 4 also,
but do we really remember what we have studied. The answer is NO.
We remember, we’ve studied lot of tenses, lot of articles, lot of sentences, nouns, pronouns, adjective, verbs, adverbs etc….but we found implementing those studies in today’s world makes us out of the box. Why SO???
We speak English based on what we learnt in our past, and we learnt Grammar and the meaning of it. But never learnt how to speak English, the accent of it, the pause and breaths of it, the reaction of it, the status of it….
Just ask a simple question to yourself, did your parents taught you the Grammar of Bengali (or any mother tongue) before you start speaking in Bengali at your childhood?????
So guys here we don’t start with Grammar, first we learn what is English and then we implement grammar as we go on.
