According to the industry experts and joint report of India Semiconductor Association (ISA) and Ernst and Young, the semiconductor industry is expected to grow at 17.4% to reach around $10billion in 2014.

The Verification Engineer performs all the testing and verification steps by using the concepts of OOPs, Verilog HDL, VHDL, so it becomes quite interesting and rewarding for students to foray their career in this industry and get exposed to patent filing, invention disclosures, and applied research.
