Documents required for Arya Samaj Marriage in Lucknow

1. Date of Birth Proof : ( Birth Certificate/ 10th matriculation Certificate/ Passport/ PAN Card) of Bride & Groom.

2. Identity Proof: Aaadhar Card/ Voter ID Card/ Driving License/ Passport of Bride & Groom.

3. Photographs: 7 Passport size photographs of each bride & groom.

4. Witnesses: Two witnesses are required with their I. D. Proof Adhar Card / Voter ID Card / Passport / Driving License.

Procedure
The procedure of Arya Samaj Marriage is quite simple & modest and it takes around 1 to 2 hours for the entire wedding ceremony. All the rituals are properly followed to ensure that the most important day of your life starts with the blessings of God. Arya Samaj Hindu marriages are solemnized according to the customary rites and ceremonies of Vedic customs. One of the rites and ceremonies include the SAPTAPADI where the bridegroom and the bride take seven steps before the sacred fire. The marriage is bound and completed when the seventh step is taken. The ceremony of Arya Samaj marriage is conducted as per the Vedic ritual, and its validity is derived from Arya Samaj Marriage Validation Act, 1937 with provisions of Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. Hindu Marriage applies equally to Arya Samajis.

Eligibility
Any person who is Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs can perform Arya Samaj Marriage.

The bridegroom has to complete 21 years of age and the bride has to complete 18 years of age at the time of their wedding.

The couple should not have a spouse living during the wedding.

Neither of the couples is incapable of consenting to the marriage due to unsoundness of mind.

The parties should not fall within the degree of prohibited relationship.

The couple should not be in a prohibited relationship unless their custom permits them to get married.

Requirements
Almost all the arrangements are already made at the Arya Samaj Mandir and you need to bring the mandatory things- Mangalsutra, Sindoor, Sweets, 2 yello Chunni and 2 Garlands.
