Pushkar a lively town bordering the Thar Desert

Pushkar, a lively town bordering the Thar Desert is a prominent religious site and being a proud home to the world-famous Pushkar Mela, welcomes tourists from across the world during the festival. The town is nestled along the Pushkar Lake which comprises 52 ghats (stone staircase) where pilgrims perform rituals and take holy dips. There are over hundreds of temples at Pushkar, however, Jagatpita Brahma Mandir is the most popular amongst them. The temple was constructed in the 14th century and exhibits exclusive architecture.
