Ajmer (pronounced [ adzmer]) is a city in the north-western Indian state of Rajasthan.Ajmer is home to the famous Dargah Sharif, which houses the Tomb of Garib Nawaz, also known as Moinuddin Chisti, the founder of the Chisti order of Sufism.
