Description for "The Taj Mahal was originally named RozaeMunawwara meani"

Roza-e-Munawwara" (Perso-Arabic: روضه منواره, meaning "Unique Building" or "Illuminated/Illustrious Tomb").
    Renaming:
Shah Jahan, who commissioned the Taj Mahal in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal, changed the name to "Taj Mahal".
    Meaning of "Taj Mahal":
"Taj" in Persian means "crown" or "diadem".
"Mahal" in Urdu means "private apartments; summer house or palace".
Some suggest "Mahal" also comes from the name of Shah Jahan's wife, Mumtaz Mahal. 5%GST
