Wildlife Sanctuaries in Kerala 925 sqkm Idukki and Path

Common prevailing animals found in Kerala are elephants, sloth bear, leopards, lion-tailed macaques, Malabar giant squirrel, sambhars, wild cats etc. Some of these sanctuaries come under UNESCO worlds heritage sites such as Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary and Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary.
