Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce (ASMSOC) is a constituent school of SVKM's NMIMS.
Established in 2007,
It provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business administration, finance, as well as commerce.
It is constantly ranked as the best undergrad B-School in India.
The school was established in 2007 offering two courses BBA and B.Com. (Hons.) and shared its campus with MPSTME.
In the year 2013, the school moved to its present campus which occupies the 7th floor of Mithibai College.
The school started offering masters programs in the year 2017 with its M.Sc. Finance program and the MMS program was introduced in 2018.
BBA offers various courses which allow the students to specialize in the final year either in Finance or Marketing domain, so that they can pursue MBA or any other professional program.
International Affiliations: The School has signed MOU with University of South Florida, USA to pursue 4th Year of bachelor's degree in General Studies.
Every academic year, we see students from European Universities studying in the school. In academic year 2015 16, we have 3 students from Nurnberg, Germany.

About Placements in the College

SVKM S NMIMS has a long standing tradition of excellent executive placements over the last 25 years. Some of our distinguished alumni represent who s who of the Indian and International business scenario.

Taking this tradition forward, we at the School of Commerce (SOC) have dedicated a strong team of some of our enthusiastic young students of the third year of BBA and B.Com (Hons) to form the students representation of the placement cell called as the placement cell .

Placement cell proactively interacts with the industry bigwigs on a regular basis through various platforms like organizing career fairs, making corporate presentations on SOC, organizing for guest lectures of industry captains for the students on a regular basis. The Placement cell team members are guided and mentored by some of the most distinguished faculty members of the Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce.

All the students of BBA and B.Com (Hons) are expected to undergo a summer internship with atleast one corporate during the months of May and June every academic year. This helps them is widening their professional horizons beyond classroom teaching.

At the end of the three academic years all qualified students are provided with placement assistance by the Placement cell.
