Day 1:
Arrive at Paro International Airport. Complete Immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu.

After checking into your hotel, proceed for a panoramic sightseeing of the capital of Bhutan which includes the following places of interest:

KuenselPhodrang World s Largest Sitting Buddha Statu
BBS Tower Provides a vantage point view of the Thimpu Valley.
Trashichhodzong Fortress in Thimphu
Handicrafts Emporium

Day2:

Folk Heritage Museum
Royal Textile Academy & Museum
Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo
Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 3:
After breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu, which includes the following places of interest:
Cheri Lhangkhang
Semtoka Dzong The oldest Dzong in Bhutan.

Note On weekends, guests would also have the opportunity of visiting the weekend market, an interesting market with local items and bargain price handicraft goods. Overnight stay in Thimphu.


Day 4:

After breakfast we move to Punakha, the old winter capital. Over Dochula pass (3150m). On clear days, we can see a beautiful range of Eastern Himalayan Mountains. There are 108 small Chortens on the pass. Before we drive to Punakha.

Day5:
After breakfast drive to Paro, the Paro valley extends from the confluence of the ParoChhu and the Wang Chhu rivers at Chuzomupto Mt. Jomolhari at the Tibetan border to the North. This picturesque region is one of the widest valleys in the kingdom and is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley.

After checking into your hotel, you would proceed for a sightseeing tour of Paro which would include the following places:

DrukgyelDzong Ruins of an old fortress in Paro
KyichuLakhang Famous Monastery in Paro
Ta Dzong National Museum of Bhutan

Day 6:
We will visit Chele La pass (12,200ft) The Highest motor able point in Bhutan.

Rinpung Dzong
On a clear day one can get a breathtaking view of Mt.Jhomolhari (23,996 ft the second
Highest peak of Bhutan) and other Himalayan giants. Visit Paro handicraft market during, Evening time. Overnight stay in Paro

Day 7:
After breakfast visit Taktshang Monastery (Tiger Nest) a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
