Cairo University Faculty of Medicine

In 1898, Cairo University in Egypt played a crucial role in providing education to diverse student groups. This led to the adoption of the English language in the School of Medicine, influenced by British culture. This institution is also known as the "Kasr Alainy" School of Medicine, part of the University of Cairo. Currently, the Cairo University campus hosts more than 22 Institutes and Faculties, with an enrollment of over 150,000 students.

The MBBS program in Egypt spans 7 years, including 2 years of practical internship in hospitals. It consists of 5 years of theoretical study followed by 2 years of practical training, comprising a one-year general internship and a one-year specialization internship.
