Calligraphy Course - The Basics or the Gothic script

Calligraphy Workshops - 30th May to 21st June

1. The Basics

This involves:

Introduction to the calligraphy pen
The concept/angle of thick & thin strokes
Cursive & straight strokes
Lower case alphabet (Small letters)
Upper case alphabet (Capital letters)
Punctuation Marks
Numbers
Word formation

2. The Gothic Script
(Admission to this course depends on the current skill level of the student with regards to basic calligraphy)

This involves:

Learning the different strokes of the gothic script
Lower case alphabet (Small letters)
Upper case alphabet (Capital letters)
Punctuation Marks
Numbers
Word formation
Paragraph formation
Sentence alignment

Its 8 sessions of 2 hours each for either of the above courses.

The fees are Rs.5000 inclusive of all course material.
(Calligraphy pen, Cartridge, Book, Calligraphy Notes)

Timings are 11am to 1pm on Saturday and Sunday

30th May to 21st June (Only weekends)

There will also be a 1 hour advanced calligraphy demo at the end of the entire workshop where students can see the various advanced tools and art that is possible with calligraphy.
