Chamser Kangri at 6637m is technically quite straight forward, giving a strong and fit trekker an excellent chance of climbing a significant Himalayan peak, and writing themselves into climbing history books without prior technical climbing experience. The primary barrier is the thin air surrounding this lofty peak.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS TRIP :

From a base camp above the lake, the peak is climbed by way of a high camp and a long summit day. Technically undemanding, this peak presents an unavoidable challenge to fit and adventurous trekkers. A super trek and climb combination in a special part of the world.

The climb (to a summit of 6637 metres and including a high camp of over 6000 meters) mean that this trip will present a challenge to even very fit group members. The lower slopes of the mountain are likely to be free of snow at the time of our trips but we will likely encounter snow above our high camp and crampons and ice axes are required for this trip. It is recommended that all group members have previous experience of winter hill walking as well as previous experience of trekking at altitude.
OUTLINE ITINERARY :

Day 1 : Arrival in Leh - Acclimatize
Day 2 : Leh to Korzok.
Day 3 : Acclimitising day at Korzok
Day 4 : Korzok to Peldo {Tsomoriri wetland] trek 04 hrs
Day 5 : Peldo to Kyurchu trek 05 hrs
Day 6 : Kyurchu to Base camp (BC) trek 06 hrs.
Day 7 : BC to Advance base camp (ABC) 04 hrs.
Day 8 : Summit and back to BC.
Day 9 : BC to Peldo camp.
Day 10 : Peldo to Leh drive.
Day 11 : Catch early morning flight for Delhi.
