After completing his basic training, he left for the UK where is specialized in colorectal surgery over a period of 10 years. He has extensively trained to be able to tackle all types of colorectal diseases

He was a consultant at St. Helens and Knowsley hospital Liverpool where he was the clinical lead for promoting laparoscopic colorectal work and pelvic floor work.
