ITINERARY
Day 01: Arrival at Kochi
On arrival at Kochi Airport/ Railway Station and transfer to the hotel. Check-in your Hotel. Later, proceed for a half day city sightseeing tour of Kochi. The major tourist attractions of Kochi are Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue, and Mattancherry Palace/Dutch Palace. Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 02: Kochi – Munnar (130 kms)
After breakfast proceed to Munnar, the place where the unfolded green carpet is waiting for you. Munnar is breathtakingly beautiful, a haven of peace and tranquility -the idyllic tourist destination in God's own country. On the way to Munnar you can also watch the adorable waterfalls in Cheeyappara and colorful flowers in Blossom Garden. Reach & check-in at the hotel. Explore rest of the day along with the nature. Overnight stay at the Hotel
Day 03: Munnar
After breakfast proceed for a morning sightseeing trip of Munnar; visiting the Eravikulam National Park. The Shola forests around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and bird watching with the variety of birds found there. Kundala is a picturesque town located at the confluence of three mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Enroute visit Kundala Lake, Echo Point, View Point & green carpet of Tea Gardens.Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 04: Munnar –Kumarakom ( 200 kms )
After breakfast proceed to Kumarakom.On reaching Kumarakom check in to the hotel. In the afternoon proceed for the local sightseeing of Kumarakom - - a tiny backwater hamlet perched on the western banks of the Vembanadu Lake. The stretch of backwater is spread over 900 sq. km. Choose a canoe, motor boat or houseboat and devour the beauty of this backwater paradise at its best. Overnight stay at the Hotel
Day 05 – Kumarakom– Cochin APT/ Rly drop ( 95 kms )
After breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Cochin APT / Railway station
