Institute of Banking Personnel Selection PO

IBPS was founded in 1975 by A.S. Deshpande and stands for Institute of Banking Personnel selection (IBPS). IBPS conducts recruitment examinations through a standard recruitment program (CRP) for all public sector Banks. It provides its services to all public sector banks (PNB, BOB, etc.), SBI, RBI, NABARD, SIDBI, LIC & Insurance companies and other banks. The exam is conducted at various locations throughout India and in online mode only.
The IBPS PO selection process consists of 3 Phases (Preliminary, Mains and Interview) and the candidate must qualify each of them to proceed to the next phase.
The eligibility criteria for the IBPS PO exam are as basic as a Graduation degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India. The age limit must be within 20-30 years of age to apply for the exam, also only Indian citizens can give the exam.
