Sabarimala in Kerala, also known as God s Own Country, is the home to the holy and temple of Lord Ayyappa on the magnificent Western Ghats of the region. It is surrounded by thick, lush green forests and almost 18 hills. Around 40 to 50 million devotees visit this temple every year, especially during the annual festival of Makaravilakku.
