KUNMING MEDICAL UNIVERSITY

Established in 1933 as a government institution in Kunming, China, Kunming Medical University spans an area of 125.4 hectares. Its founding aim was to provide medical education to students. In 1993, it was recognized as one of Yunnan province's premier higher education institutions. Then, in 2012, following assessment by the Ministry of Education of China, the institution was officially renamed Kunming Medical University.
