About GTBIT

Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GTBIT) was established under the aegis of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC) in the year 1999. The institute is a degree level technical institute which is AICTE approved and affiliated to GGISP University. It is an ISO certified institute which has been graded 'A' by Delhi Government. The admission to GTBIT is made on the basis of marks scored in the Common Entrance Test conducted by the affiliating University.

In February 2018, the students went to Canada for a 36 hour hackathon named Hack The Valley-2 organised at University of Toronto which is Canada's topmost university. Out of 3000+ applications from all over the world, 500 students were selected. They secured 1st position out of 80 teams and got $1000 reward with medals and each student was awarded a Dji Spark Drone.(worth 1000$)They were also invited to mentor students at Starterhacks'18 competition at University of Waterloo.
