1 day visit is more then enough. this place is good place for enjoying beach sports and visit a good and renowned temple, as it serves both purposes.
The temple is quite nice and big but the day we visited they had some ritual going on and they were letting people in in batches so there was lot of shoving and pushing. There is a place to remove your footwear(paid). You enter through the massive Gopuram
