The festival is the most prestigious annual cultural event of the Eurasian space. The first festival was opened in 2012 by the ex-president of Kyrgyzstan, Roza Otunbaeva, who gave impetus to the first international and literary festival in the region. Over the next 8 years, the festival grew from a highly specialized event to a celebration of Eurasian culture. Over five days, there are art exhibitions, music concerts,
seminars, book fairs and book presentations, meetings with poets and writers, and the award ceremony for the winners of the Open Eurasia contest. The festival’s objective is creating a community of talent-
ed Eurasian artists, create a showcase for their works, then invite the widest amount of public to see the greatest examples of Eurasian life. The festival has previously been held in: Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan),
London and Cambridge (Great Britain), Almaty (Kazakhstan), Stockholm (Sweden), Bangkok and Pattaya (Thailand) and Brussels (Belgium).
"The road to success is always renewed. Success is a forward movement, not a point that can be reached."
