The State Blood Transfusion Council (SBTC), an autonomous organization, registered as Trust, invites applications from the qualified candidates for the following posts to be filled in at Sir J. J. Mahanagar Raktapedhi on contract basis. The last date for submission of applications is 22nd December 2015.

Upper Age Limit (for all posts): 38 years and relaxable in deserving cases. The upper age limit for retired Govt. Servant will be 62 years and relaxable in deserving cases up to 65 years.

Qualification and Experience:

Blood Transfusion Officer -> MBBS having one year experience m Blood Bank. In case of MBBS without any experience candidate will be appointed as Trainee Blood Transfusion Officer. MBBS & DCP. MD Pathology / Transfusion Medicine.

Registered Nurse -> B.Sc (Nursing) or HSC and Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) Candidates should have registered with Maharashtra Nursing Council.

Blood Bank Technician -> Degree m Medical Laboratory Technology (M. L.T.) with six months experience in the testing of blood and / or its components, OR Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (D. M. L. T.) with one year experience in the testing of blood and / or its components. The degree or diploma being from a University / Institution recognized by Central Govt or State Govt.

Driver -> Should have passed minimum VIII standard Should possess light and heavy duty vehicle driving license without any adverse remark of serious nature. Should be conversant with elementary principles of vehicle maintenance.
