SSR Medical College

Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Medical College (SSRMC), also known as SSR Medical College, is a private medical institution located in Belle Rive, Mauritius. It was founded in 1999, making it the first medical college in Mauritius. The medicine program at SSR Medical College commenced in 2002.

Covering an expansive area of 30 acres provided by the government, SSR Medical College boasts a spacious campus. It benefits from proximity to several specialty hospitals such as Victoria, SSR, and Jawahar Lal Nehru Hospital, among others. Currently, the college has access to over 2,000 beds across these hospitals for clinical training purposes.
