Owners of the private engineering colleges are permitted to fill about 15% of intake by what is called 'management' or direct quota. In this way, a student who has cleared the eligibility criteria like age, minimum marks in class 12th, etc. is allowed to take admission without taking CET.

Direct admission mean, you can get admission in colleges, directly, there is no exam or percentage process. Its great news for student who don't have enough marks.

For admissions into BBA courses, students are needed to clear the 10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board or school. Some colleges consider the criteria of securing 50% marks in the qualifying exam. The age should be between 17 to 25 years.
