Petre Shotadze Tbilisi Medical Academy (TMA), established in 1992, is a 30-year-old for-profit private university commonly known as Tbilisi Medical Academy. It is named after its founder, Petre Shotadze. The university's University Clinic provides students with opportunities to enhance their theoretical knowledge through clinical practice. Additionally, TMA Tbilisi offers a clinical skill center and laboratory facilities.

In 2012, Tbilisi Medical Academy introduced a one-step medicine program in English, ensuring a high standard of education that meets international benchmarks.
