The Sanctuary is a home to many endangered species such as, the Red-crowned turtle, Gangetic river dolphins and Gharials. You can hire boats on the river to observe the Gharials and Dolphins and Walking trails in the ravines and along the river offer opportunities for close observation of the wide variety of plants and animals in the sanctuary.
