Difference between Acupressure and Acupuncture

Both acupressure and acupuncture are traditional methods of Chinese treatments that the students will be studying in their BNYS course. There are some differences between these two treatments. The main aim of both the treatments is to stimulate acupoints but the procedures are different. In acupressure the BNYS doctors use massage and manual pressure to stimulate the area of a body, while in the acupuncture the BNYS doctors use ultra-thin needles and insert them in the skin to stimulate the particular body part. Both the treatments are used to treat various medical conditions in patients.
