Nature study and Eco-tourism

IDEAS is an adventure village surrounded by the hills in the middle of a jungle. Encircled by deciduous forests, streams, and wildlife, IDEAS is more than just a place; it's an experience. Here, we attempt to reconcile scientific knowledge with personal experiences gained from interaction with the natural world. We at IDEAS, conserve the environment and improve the well being of local people. Our concept focuses on helping you understand the wild landscape, the flora and fauna that is part of it and the local communities that share the landscape.

We also include a wide range of soft activities such as:
Camping in the middle of a forest
Jungle Trekking
Wildlife watching
Improvised shelter making

Agro Tourism

With fast growing urbanization, there exists a disconnect between people and the food they eat. As a result, people have become more curious about how and where the food they consume is produced.

Here at IDEAS, we try to bridge that gap by bringing in consumers and help them understand the process of crop production. The approach is to enjoy a day with the farmers on their farms.

During the day, we will facilitate you to meet the farmers, talk to them, see what crops they grow and not just observe but be a part of it by performing few basic farm activities. Our experience tells that this entire process not only helps to understand the agro production but also helps build a strong empathy bonding between the farmers and the consumers.

Activities at 'IDEAS'

We have arrived at a mix of various activities that will keep you busy and joyous throughout your visit. Our activities include rock-climbing, trekking, river crossing, survival techniques, obstacles training, swimming, Skit shooting, nature awareness, self-defense, improvised shelter, archery, rifle-shooting, para sailing, paragliding, Aero modeling, treasure hunt, bird watching, slide shows, demonstrations and last but not the least; Campfire and cultural evening.

What to carry

Haversack ( If available), Lite bedding, three pairs of clothing, shorts, swimming costume, sports shoes, socks, toilet kit, torch, dinner plate, steel bowl, spoon, Water bottle, and glass, note book, pencil, cotton sling (Length 2mtrs), sun cap, personal medicine, minimum clothes as per season, musical instrument ( Optional)

- Do not bring any valuables such as gold, rings, electronics
- Camera ( Optional)
- Limit your luggage to your convenience

A refreshing experience at "IDEAS'

Out into the wild, climbing the hills, brazing the sheer rocks can be an exciting and tough experience. Definitely time well spent, but nature has much more to offer to us than just fun and beauty.

IDEAS campsite

The campsite is located at 'Ghorpad' just 45 minutes from Nagpur city on the Amaravati road. Surrounded by hills and substantial forest cover. The camp site is a well-equipped adventure complex with an obstacle course, natural rock-climbing wall, open ground, lecture halls, firing range and a swimming pool. The camp site promises a lot of fun, adventure and of course wildlife. IDEAS is a place you would love to be in.
