For B.Tech, the candidates have passed 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology.
For MCA and MBA programs, the candidates have passed a http://B.Sc. or an equivalent degree in the relevant subjects.
Student shave to qualify in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) to secure admission in B.Tech, MCA and MBA programs.
For the M.Tech course, the aspiring candidates have scored a minimum 50% marks in the UG degree or a 2 or 3-year Diploma in the related Engineering or Science stream.
The selection of candidates for the M.Tech program is done on the basis of GATE score.

JSS ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION (JSSATE) offers B.Tech course in 8 different streams. The minimum eligibility criteria to apply for admission is to have a qualifying score in UPSEEalong with a pass in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Final selection of the candidate is based on the state level counselling.

JSSATE Reservation Criteria
The reservation for SC, ST, OBC and other categories is done on the basis of the regulation of State Government. This includes preferences for wards of freedom fighters from the state, wards of ex-servicemen or defense personnel, reservation for women candidates.

In addition to this, the reserved categories like OBC also get a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregated score while the SC/ST candidates enjoy a relaxation of up to 10% in the aggregated score as well.

UPSEE also offers special reservations for Dependents of Freedom Fighters from UP (2%), wards of defense personnel (5%), Handicapped (3%) and women (20%).
