The Karpaga Vinayaga Institute of Medical Sciences Institute was established under the auspices of Karpaga Vinayaga Educational Trust at GST Road Tamilnadu.

KIMS is a self financing co educational college dedicated to the training of medical doctors. The College offers a 5-year 6-month duration of study for the MBBS program. The curriculum and school leadership are provided by M.G.R Medical University, Chennai.
