PM Vishwakarma Yojana Transmuting Artisans and Craftspeople

The PM Vishwakarma Yojana is the very first-ever scheme introduced by the Government of India, with an aim of extending finance, technical, and social rehabilitation to the world of traditional artisans and craftspeople. The initiative will begin on 17th September 2023 and it will reach more than 30 lakh artisans from all across the country with bettered skills, market access, and entrepreneurial opportunities. It will focus not only on preserving rich cultural heritage in India but also strengthening the economic security of these very artisans. The Vishwakarma Yojana is the bridge that leads from traditional settings into modern enterprise.
